**MORE LIKE OWIE THAN WOWI** Well, I was visiting Florida and my friend and I stopped in here on Sunday, August 2nd, late in the afternoon. I wanted to know what was in the pre-made smoothies, primarily if the pina colada mix contained dairy. What was sad was the guy behind the counter (and the only person working in the store) did not know even know what dairy *was* and gave me answers like: "I don't know. It's got pina colada in it." "Dairy? I don't think so. Maybe. I'm really not sure." "I just started here. It's made of pina colada. I don't think it does, no, definitely not." My friend and I just kind of looked at each other! Then we asked him for the ingredients list and he got very annoyed with us. Finally he phoned his boss who informed him that all of the pre-made smoothies do indeed contain milk products. A-ha! Finally an answer, I thanked him for his trouble and told him he shouldn't tell customers that something doesn't contain milk when it definitely does and again he barked, "Hey, I've only been here two weeks!" I guess that means you're allowed to be clueless, eh? Cute little place, would have liked to try some of the raw vegan goodies, but this guy's attitude just turned us off completely and we left.

This place is awesome! The coffee is fantastic and the owner is SO nice ... as are the staff members. Your iced coffee gets a little umbrella--how cute. And, they have eco-friendly tiki cups so you can bring them back for refills.

This was my first visit to this place and I must say everything was great. The owner was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The smoothie was amazing! I will be returning without a doubt.

My partner and I had great coffee drinks here. Freddy behind the counter was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely has a bit of the franchise feel but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of an almond milk cappuccino. Noms. Will return next time we're in Boynton Beach!

No ambiance to this coffee place. Too bad. Invisible location not seen from Street due to traffic volume. I was the ONLY customer for 15 minutes one weekday morning while my dog was being examined down the street. Parking is EASY right behind the building once you find it. Had just a coffee as nothing else was appealing to me. I like to see businesses succeed. Ownership needs to do something here.

The smoothies are alright..a little pricey in my opinion. I loved my smoothies umbrella, but unfortunately it is all about the taste of the meal rather than covering it up with a bit of cuteness. If you have a place living up to a beautiful island l, live up to its beauty and most importantly, flavors.

Friendly kind service and good variety of drinks. Selections vary from coffee, espresso, and fruit smoothies. They offer average flavors like caramel, mocha, coconut, hazelnut, etc. I ordered the Hawaiian coffee with caramel/coconut and it tasted amazing. My only slight negative came from the pricing. A small iced coffee was $3.65 and it was gone in about 10 sips (the ice was filled to the lid). Other than that, this was a great place and I'd be happy to return but next time ill ask for less ice

I just went here for my first time and I loved my frozen coffee drink with caramel. I will definitely come back again for more delicious coffee drinks.

I visited Maui Wowi every day during my visit to the Boynton Beach area! I couldn't get enough of their fresh, dark coffee, or their selection of baked goods. I had the fortune of meeting the owner of this Maui Wowi, & he was just a fantastic person. He went the extra mile to make me feel welcomed as an out-of-towner - he even took the time to sit & have actual conversation with me. His friendliness, exemplary service, & delicious, consistent products kept me coming back every day during my stay in the Boynton area. I wouldn't have even found Maui Wowi if it wasn't for my handy Yelp app - my hotel was just down the road, but not accepting check-ins for another hour, & they would not give me the option of checking in early. So I searched quickly for a coffee shop & was happy to find Maui Wowi. I especially appreciated the free parking in the garage right behind the storefront. Made for hassle-free visits. Being from Chicago, free parking is a beautiful thing to find... ;) I couldn't recommend this location more. I was treated so well during each of my visits. I love coffee, & Maui Wowi kept it coming for me hot & fresh, with awesome service & a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

I was pleasantly surprised to walk into Maui wowie they are so cute the place is like you're in a little Hawaiian shop of the beach and they have very good coffee is highly recommended Steven put a cute little umbrella in them I can't wait to try their sandwiches next but I had already ordered from next door give them an A for effort a for coffee and their sandwiches are pretty knees are only $5 so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy those that make them off fresh on the premises I was told so we'll give it a shot thanks guys I'll be back to see you soon

Who doesn't like smoothies? Especially when they come with a cute little umbrella. I love my vitamix and all but sometimes it's just good to have someone else make you a smoothie. The place was clean and the staff was friendly.

This place screams "I'm a franchise!" with its overdone tacky decor and limited, uninspired menu. The moment I walked through the door, two young girls peeked their heads out with this shocked look of, "Someone is here!" The one girl was seated at a table, and her expression made it evident that I was an unwelcomed interruption to their conversation. Being new to the shop, I asked what their best selling smoothies were. Of course, she names every one add the best, but admits to only trying one. I get the sense that this is the type of place that uses frozen syrups to make their so called fruit smoothies. I end up ordering the lemonwave and the keylime smoothies, both of which had a creamy smooth consistency, but lacked any real flavor. In short, it's a 3 star if you're in the area, but it's nothing I would go out of my way for.

Really great little local coffee spot. Coffee is 100000000x better than Starbucks. No bitter aftertaste, just great coffee flavor. The Hawaiian theme is everywhere, tasteful not cheesy. The owner is really friendly and has genuine coffee passion which is great! He even said, if you call him with an order, you can drive up by the store and he'll just hand you your order - like a personal drive thru hahah! I thought that was a super nice touch, the guy really cares and is willing to accommodate his customers. Parking can seem confusing from the street view, but there is a handy parking garage in the back and it is never full, so its perfect. The coffee shop has plenty of seating and wifi, so great for posting reviews fast or doing reading/homework/whatever! lol Coffee prices are comparative to Starbucks but I feel like I'm getting way more for my buck here at Maui Wowi. The place is clean and fresh, they make fruit smoothies, coffees, paninis and have other snacks available. You can also purchase several of the coffee bean flavors there too. They have a rewards program, flip flop day (20% off I think), cute little promo cards for $ off etc. I certainly will be back to get better acquainted with the menu. Overall I think this spot will be a great success in an area that desperately needed a coffee alternative to McDonalds!

Nice little find in Boynton near Sweetwater Grill. I was looking for some coffee after running an errand, and on my way to A1A I spotted their Maui Wowi sign on Woolbright. Parking is in the back, but the entrances are both in the front and back of the place. We were greeted immediately by a friendly guy behind the counter. I just wanted a latte, but they didn't have any soy or non-dairy options. I'm not sure if they were just out of them, or if they never have them. Not a big deal though. Non-fat was fine at this point. Hawaiian blends always taste good to me, but I'm not sure why since I'm a bold/dark coffee drinker. Regardless, Maui Wowi served up a good latte, and by the looks of the menu, they've got some tasty smoothies as well -- though I didn't try one. In fact, the smoothie busines here looks to be larger than the coffee business, just based on the menu and the signage around the inside. If I'm in the area, I'll easily go back here. Service was really friendly, and there is seating in the front and rear of the store.

My boyfriend loves it here every time he comes over he gets his special cup and walks over and brings us back yummy smoothies... I would actually give it 5 stars if they offered more options and had a bigger menu.. The store is very inviting, friendly and relaxing... The staff is a tad slow but very nice and I'm sure they just take there time to do it right... It's a nice addition to east boynton...

Yummy smoothie. A bit hard to find in the mixed use center. Free garage though, which is always nice. Looked brand new, we were the only people there. Great refreshing treat after a full day at the beach.

Great little new place to grab a coffee. staff is super nice and attentive. have not tried a smoothie there yet and i dont think they have much of a low calorie selection if they have any. 2 pluses: they accept spot on scans and if you buy the tiki size, you get a reuseable cup, which when you bring back in for a refill, they will charge only the medium size. check this place out ya'll and support local buisness!!!
